Meet the Team: Nate Palm
In an effort to help you get to know the fine folks behind the fine beverage, we asked all of our staff to write a little bio.

Hello fellow Mead drinkers and enthusiasts, I am Nate, the Senior Brewer at Groennfell and Havoc Mead. Some of you know me, a lot of you probably don't so here's a little sketch about me.
I happily spend my days doing a nice variety of things. I could be brewing one day, cleaning the next, working on new recipes, packing up shipments, or tending bar.
By random circumstances I have been happily with VT Craft Mead for a year and change. It feels like I've been part of this family for a lot longer though.
I found this place the same way a lot of you might've, by being dragged in by a friend saying, "You've gotta try this place"!
When I'm here, I'm not at work, I'm home with family and friends. I get to do what I love with people I adore. What's not to love about that?
On my down time I'm usually enjoying the fruits of our labor. When not that, I enjoy trying new interesting and random drinks, have it be beer, cider, wine, or liquor.
If there is something I would want people to know about mead, it would be that it's not what you think, and it has the ability to transform itself into so many different flavors and styles. That's why I love working with it: the possibilities are endless.
